From your first form to full independence.
Four phases, one standard. Every meeting, form and training session an Atlas agent needs — in the order you need them. Follow the system and nothing gets missed.
The whole path, start to finish
Each phase has a clear finish line. You don't move forward until the one you're in is complete.
Onboarding and licensing
Your forms, the 7 day standard with your trainer, and passing your exam.
2On the job training
Script training, shadowing, and supervised dials with 50 leads.
3Sign-off period
Present the client presentation until you're certified to serve clients.
4Independence
Your schedule, your goals, your leadership track, and the weekly rhythm.
Agent progression
As you issue business, the leads you're given get fresher and your contract percentage climbs. Both ladders are laid out end to end.
Company calls
All agents, licensed agents, trainers, leads managers and managers each have a standing call every week. Every one of them runs in the Atlas Zoom Office.
Onboarding and licensing
Your first week. You get your resources and your Atlas Agent Code, complete the 7 day standard with your trainer, and study for your exam alongside it.
-
Agent onboarding form
Start here. Once your form is in, your welcome resources, your licensing resources and your Atlas Agent Code are sent to you, and you're assigned a trainer who walks you through your first week.
-
Exam date form
Let the Atlas team know when you're scheduled to sit your exam. Once we have your date we can help you prepare for it and keep you on pace through your first week.
-
Onboarding orientation
Your first meeting with your assigned trainer. Covers the next steps you're about to go through, maps out your first week of training, and outlines the standards we hold as a company. Your trainer sets the rest of your week-one meetings in this session.
-
Day 1 orientation
The client service menu, the 6 steps of financial independence, and the education we provide to every client we sit with.
-
Day 2 orientation
The retirement and protection focused products we offer clients, how to structure them properly, and how to serve the client who needs them.
-
Day 3 orientation
Our leads process and exactly how you'll be trained on it, plus product selection and choosing the right carrier.
-
Manager 1-on-1
Sit with your direct manager to confirm you're on track, flowing through the system in order, and to get any questions answered. Your trainer sets this up with you during your onboarding orientation.
-
Personal financial review
All three orientations come together in one client meeting. We walk you through the exact process we run with clients, with you in the client's seat. Your trainer sets this up with you during your onboarding orientation.
-
Study for and pass your exam
If you aren't licensed already, you study through this same week. Nothing in Phase 1 waits on your exam, and your exam shouldn't wait on Phase 1. All licensing resources are emailed to you by Samantha once your Atlas onboarding form is filled out.
-
Passed exam form
Submit it the day you pass. It triggers the email with your next steps in the licensing process and opens Phase 2.
The 7 day standard
Onboarding orientation, Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3 are your four training meetings with your trainer. The manager 1-on-1 and the personal financial review sit alongside them in the same week.
On the job training
Three weeks of real reps. You learn the script, watch it run live, then get on the phones yourself with trainers in the room. Licensing and contracting run in the background the entire time.
-
Your next steps arrive by email
Once your passed exam form is in, you'll get an email to continue with contracting and get registered with the state. You'll also be prompted to schedule your Day 4 orientation with our CEO, Gabe Wilson.
-
Day 4 orientation with Gabe Wilson
A chance to get to know each other, put your goals and your reason for starting on the table, and map how the next three weeks run. You'll leave this meeting with your training resources.
-
Script training
Three to five 1-on-1 sessions with one of our leads trainers. Between sessions, use the AI bot instruction document to set up ChatGPT to play the client, so you can keep repping outside your trainer's hours. Start scheduling field trainings during this stretch too.
-
Shadowing training
By now you're comfortable with the script. Join the dial rooms daily, work through the extra video resources on your leads training sheet, and log who you shadowed and what the result was. Make your own copy of the leads training sheet before you start working in it.
-
Supervision training
You get 50 leads loaded into your sheet CRM and you call them in the dial room with trainers and other independent agents present, giving you feedback live on the spot.
Running in parallel: licensing and contracting
While script and shadow training are happening, push your licensing and contracting through as fast as possible and follow the steps in Samantha's emails. Two forms matter most: submit the contracting form after you request a contract with a new carrier, and submit the writing code form the moment that carrier sends your codes back.
Field training resources
Everything you need for setting and running field appointments. Work through the scripts first, then the presentation and the training videos.
Sign-off period
You present the full client presentation three times. Each approval moves you up a level, and the third certifies you to help clients on your own.
Trainer
Present to one of our trainers or leads trainers. This is where the rough edges get found and fixed.
Manager
Once your trainer approves you, run the same presentation for your manager.
CEO
The final approval. Clear this and you're fully certified to serve clients.
Presenting from the same material every time
The presentation you give in sign-off is the presentation you'll give clients — same flow, same order. Your trainer or leads trainer schedules the first one with you, and each approval unlocks the next. Once the CEO signs off, you're certified and independent.
Independence
Once you're independent you sit with the CEO one on one to set three things: the leadership role you want, the schedule you'll run, and the goals you're chasing three to six months out. Everything below comes out of that meeting.
Leadership roles
For agents who want to train new agents, run a team, or develop a sales organization. Those paths open up to:
- Higher commissions
- Sales bonuses
- Franchise or partner ownership
Your schedule
Built so leads come to you consistently. We structure your Calendly and cover the lines in the water you should be using, based on the goals and trajectory you want.
Your 3–6 month goals
We take the number you name and track it backwards into daily and weekly actions, so you leave with clarity on exactly what to do Monday morning.
Three things happen every week
After that meeting, the system narrows to a weekly rhythm. These three don't move.
1-on-1 with your manager or CEO
30 minutes to review your calls, your progress against your goals, and anything you're stuck on. Held every week for your first three months independent.
Leads request form
Submitted every week, as long as your requirements are met. No form, no leads.
Trainers call
Higher level training every Saturday at 12pm EST in the Atlas Zoom Office. This is where you keep growing once the system has taught you the fundamentals.
What you're measured on
From independence forward, your focus narrows to issued business and being active in the Zoom office. That's it.
The floor. Every active agent clears this.
Where agents running the system consistently land.
What we're building toward together.
If you do more, that's your new average
These numbers describe the majority of agents, not the high achievers. And if you want to build — step into leadership, run a team, or own a piece of this — work hand in hand with your manager or the CEO to get there.
How you grow.
Two things grow as you produce: the quality of the leads you're given and the contract you're paid on. Both are tied to issued business, so the path is the same for everyone.
Better leads as you produce
Every new agent starts with aged leads and works up. Each upgrade is based on business issued from leads.
Aged leads
Final Expense, Mortgage Protection and IUL leads, provided to you from day one.
Fresh leads
The same three lead types — Final Expense, Mortgage Protection and IUL — but far newer.
Inbound FEX
Inbound Final Expense calls, where the client is reaching out to you.
Annuity leads
The highest tier we provide, opened up to agents with a proven track record on the phones.
All thresholds are based on issued sales that came from company leads.
Contract progression
Your contract percentage moves with your production. Every agent starts in the same place.
Agent
Where every agent begins, from your first issued policy forward.
Senior Advisor
Issue $20,000 in sales across a three month period and you move to an 80% contract.
Manager
Issue $60,000 in sales across a three month period and you move to a 90% contract.
*There is also a building path to both of these promotions. If you'd rather earn them by developing agents and building a team than on personal production alone, work that out with your manager or the CEO.
100% to 120% are leadership contracts
Everything above a 90% contract is a leadership promotion rather than a production one. These are for agents stepping into training, running a team, or developing a sales organization. If that's the direction you want, build the plan with your manager or the CEO.
Every call, every week.
Standing calls for every level of the organization. All of them run in the same room — the Atlas Zoom Office — so there's one link to remember. All times are Eastern.
